Less is More.
Radiance in day four is about being intentional in movement. So much of our lives is hustle – bustle – do more-be more- and get all the things done. I know. That was my life more many years and it just about cost me everything.
I used to be the 2 hours a day in the gym kinda gal. With the restrictive calorie meal plans. So all you cardio bunnies I can hear you. I know you want to go and run and eat less.
But I want to let you in on a little secret. All that doing sucks the life out of your body and soul. Where is the radiance?
Less is more.
Yoga is a practice of making friends with all you are ~ me
I have truly discovered this as I became intentional in movement. As exercise transformed not into I have to burn off that cupcake, but into thank you body for allowing me to show up at yoga today and move. Or thank you for the sun and that I can go for a walk with my good friend.
Movement that is intentionally based from radiance. Ask yourself – will this make me feel light, luminous, glowy? Or that angry, fall into bed, frustrated feeling?
Sometimes the best answer is not movement, but stillness. Or maybe its taking a new, invigorating class that challenges you (like that pole dancing class?). Or maybe a hike up that mountain with your family.
Remember, less should and have too, and more does this make me feel radiant?
I challenge you today to see if your routine includes a lot of hustling and bustling and exercise that isn’t serving you well. What might make you feel more radiant?
